How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • whisk all the dry ingredients together
  • Gradually add the milk, mix well
  • add butter, eggs, and vanilla once again mix well
  • Pour into a well greased 13x9" pan
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, the top of the cake should be a rich golden brown.
  • mash your strawberries in a large glass bowl, they should be chunky
  • add sugar to taste
  • serve over squares of the cooled cake
  • garnish with whipped cream and whole berries
