Deviled Eggs Recipe

I was 28 before I discovered that deviled eggs were not called that due to the deviled ham that was in them! This is how my mother always made them, and I just always assumed the deviled ham was what gave them their name!

Ingredients
- 12 hard-boiled eggs
- 1 can deviled ham
- ¼ cup sweet relish
- ½ cup mayonnaise
Directions
- Shell eggs and cut in half, lengthwise.
- Gently remove yolks and put in a small mixing bowl.
- Place the egg whites on a platter or egg serving tray.
- Add the deviled ham, relish and mayonnaise and mix well.
- Put the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Depending on taste, you can add mustard, finely chopped onion and/or celery, but the above is how my guys like it.

I've never heard of using deviled ham in deviled eggs - my DH loves both so this is a dish he would absolutely love. And some onion would just make it better. Thanks for sharing.
