How to make it

  • preheat the broiler
  • trim the crusts from the bread, then cut into 20 shapes, 2 in. round cookie cutter, triangles, etc...
  • tear enough of the bread trimmings into fine crumbs to measure 1/2 c., set aside
  • mix butter and thyme, brush evenly onto the bread cutouts, place in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet
  • broil about 2 min. or until golden brown
  • mix together bread crumbs, shrimp, cheese, mayo and salt
  • spoon onto toasted cutouts
  • Broil another 8-10 minutes or until hot and bubbly
