Meatballs in Demi Glase Sauce

- FOR THE MEATBALLS: shopping list
- 1 kilo of ground pork or meat or mixed. shopping list
- 2 tsp of garlic powder shopping list
- 4 tsp of Crushed oregano shopping list
- 2 tsp of Grated ginger shopping list
- 1/2 cup of Grated carrots shopping list
- 2 tbsp of light soy sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp of salt shopping list
- 4 tsp of sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp of ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp of sesame seed oil shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 3 tbsp of worcestershire sauce (I used Lea & Perrins) shopping list
- 1 medium-sized sweet onion (chopped) shopping list
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs shopping list
- 1 cup of Powdered parmesan cheese shopping list
- TO COMPLETE THE DISH : shopping list
- 2 cans of Demi Glase Sauce (I used the Heinz brand) shopping list
- about 600ml of water shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- 1 carrot (wedged) shopping list
- 2 medium-sized potatoes (wedged) shopping list
- 1 can of green peas shopping list
- vegetable oil shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for meatballs. Mix well.
- Form round shapes and pan fry them in olive oil.
- Drain on paper towels and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a sauce pan.
- Add the carrots and potatoes.
- When the carrots and potatoes are half-cooked, add the Demi Glase Sauce. Mix well.
- Add water. Mix well.Boil then simmer for a few minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to suit your taste.
- Add the green peas and meatballs.
- Simmer for 1 minute.
- Turn off heat.
- Serve with rice.
