Egg Sambal

- 70 gm dried prawn , soaked shopping list
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste shopping list
- 200 gm shallots , peeled and sliced shopping list
- ........ shopping list
- oil few tbsp shopping list
- 100 gm fresh chilli paste ( comes in plastic bags from supermarket/wetmarkets ) shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- 3 tbsp tamarind juice shopping list
- salt shopping list
- .............. shopping list
- 1 L onion , cut into rings shopping list
- 3 small tomatoes , wedges shopping list
- 10 hard boiled eggs shopping list
How to make it
- Pound the prawn , shallots and the gin-gar paste .
- Fry until fragrant .
- Add chilli paste and fry until aromatic .
- Add the sugar , tamarind juice and salt and boil until the gravy thickens .
- Add the tomato wedges and onion rings and fry for 3 mins .
- Add the eggs and fry for 2 mins .
- Dish out .
