Toasted Quinoa with green onions and toasted almonds

- Ingredients : shopping list
- 2 cups quinoa shopping list
- 4 cups water or chicken stock shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 cup toasted almonds shopping list
- 2 green onions shopping list
How to make it
- Rinse Quinoa ,then dry in paper towel
- In pot, toast Quinoa, stirring constantly over medium heat for 2 minutes
- Add water ( or stock)..Bring to boil,then cover,at low heat simmer for 12 minutes,or until liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat( do not stir)
- Just before serving add toasted almonds and green onions.
