Apricot Almond Cream French Toast

- 3 eggs shopping list
- 3 tablespoons apricot preserves shopping list
- 1 tablespoon peach brandy shopping list
- 3/4 cup half and half shopping list
- 6 slices French bread cut 1/2" thick shopping list
- butter for frying shopping list
- 4 fresh apricots peeled and sliced shopping list
- powdered sugar, toasted almonds and mint sprigs for garnish shopping list
- Apricot Butter: shopping list
- 1/3 cup apricot preserves shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter softened shopping list
How to make it
- In small bowl beat eggs, preserves and brandy then beat in half and half.
- Place bread slices in baking dish and pour egg mixture over top.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight then melt butter in large skillet.
- Cook bread slices over medium heat until browned turning once.
- Beat preserves and butter until light and fluffy then put on bread slices.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar then garnish with apricot slices, toasted almonds and mint sprig.
