Ingredients
  • 1/2 Napa Cabbage, chopped
  • 1 bunch of green onions, chopped
  • 1 red pepper, seeded and diced
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 pkg chicken flavoured oriental noodle soup with seasonng mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • Chicken breast, boneless, skinless (4-6 ounces per serving)

Directions
  1. Mix the cabbage, onions and red pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Melt the butter in a frying pan and saute the almonds, noodles and seasoning mix together until golden.
  3. Add t to cabbage mix and toss.
  4. Shake dressing ingredients in a jar (oil, vinegar, garlic, soy sauce and sugar).
  5. Pour over salad and toss. Let sit at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. You will probably have extra dresssing left over. I find it usually does for two recipes. Refrigerate extra dressing or freeze till you make the recipe again.
