Thelmas Napa Cabbage Salad

- 1/2 napa cabbage, chopped shopping list
- 1 bunch of green onions, chopped shopping list
- 1 red pepper, seeded and diced shopping list
- 2 Tbsp butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds shopping list
- 1 pkg chicken flavoured oriental noodle soup with seasonng mix shopping list
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 garlic clove, minced shopping list
- 1 tsp soy sauce shopping list
- 3 Tbsp sugar shopping list
- chicken breast, boneless, skinless (4-6 ounces per serving) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the cabbage, onions and red pepper in a large bowl.
- Melt the butter in a frying pan and saute the almonds, noodles and seasoning mix together until golden.
- Add t to cabbage mix and toss.
- Shake dressing ingredients in a jar (oil, vinegar, garlic, soy sauce and sugar).
- Pour over salad and toss. Let sit at least 30 minutes before serving.
- You will probably have extra dresssing left over. I find it usually does for two recipes. Refrigerate extra dressing or freeze till you make the recipe again.
