Corn Okra And Tomatoes

- 6 ears of fresh corn shopping list
- 2 lbs okra shopping list
- 2 cans tomatoes shopping list
- 1 onion chopped shopping list
- cayenne pepper shopping list
- salt & pepper shopping list
- butter (if vegan use margarine) shopping list
How to make it
- Chop okra
- shuck corn and cut corn of stalks
- In a large skillet melt butter or margarine on medium high heat
- add chopped onions saute until translucent
- add the okra and corn and saute for about 10 minutes
- add the tomatoes
- turn the burner down to simmer
- add the cayenne pepper (use as much or little depending on taste), salt and black pepper.
- Let simmer for about an hour or until the vegetables are tender.
- Serve immediately.
