Moroccan Meatball Stew Recipe
When you make this, you'll have to adjust the salt to your taste. This is exceptional delicious, dip in soup with French Rolls.

Ingredients
  • Meatballs:
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 bunch cilantro, chopped (divided & reserve half)
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped (divided & reserve half)
  • 1 large onion, chopped (divided & reserve half)
  • 1/2 T. ground cumin
  • 1/2 T. Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 T. salt
  • 1/2 T. ground pepper
  • dash ground cinnamon
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • Soup:
  • remaining cilantro
  • remaining parsley
  • remaining onion
  • 1/2 t. garlic powder
  • 1/2 T. ground cumin
  • 1/2 T. each salt & pepper
  • dash cinnamon
  • 1-1/2 qt. water
  • 1 T. canola oil

Directions
  1. Meatballs:
  2. Mix all ingredients well. Form into 1-inch balls. Set aside.
  3. Soup:
  4. In large saucepan, pour in oil.
  5. Let it heat for few minutes.
  6. Add in onions, cilantro, parsley until softened.
  7. Add water, & seasoning.
  8. Bring to boil. Add Meatballs, cover let stand for 10-15 minutes, or until meatballs are browned.
  9. Serve in bowls with french rolls.
