Vegan Chocolate Orange Cake

- 1.5 cups flour shopping list
- 1 cup milled cane sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder shopping list
- 2 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/3 cup vegetable or canola oil shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 cup orange tea (cooled), thin orange juice, or water shopping list

- frosting shopping list
- 1 stick soy margarine, softened but not melted shopping list
- 10 oz marmalade shopping list
- Milled cane sugar, to taste shopping list
- Dash of salt shopping list
- vanilla extract (optional) shopping list
- One bag dairy-free semi-sweet chocolate chips (or two 10-oz bars), melted shopping list
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder shopping list
- 1/4 cup soymilk or orange juice shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C). Grease 2 round cake pans with veg. Shortening or oil.
- Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl, and the wet ones in another. Then add the liquid to the dry mixture, and blend.
- Pour the batter into the 2 cake pans, and bake for 25 minutes or so, until a fork stuck in the middle comes out clean.
