How to make it

  • Dice pork into bite-size pieces. Add soy sauce, fried red onion, and pepper. Dredge in sweet potato starch.
  • Fry pork in vegetable oil until golden and crispy. Remove to a bowl.
  • Cut turnip into strips. Blend with salt and chopped green pepper. Put in bowl on top of pork. Add 1/2 cup water. Cover and steam 40 minutes. Drain juices out. Quickly invert bowl onto small serving platter and pour juice over. Serve with rice.
