How to make it

  • Place Chilies in 1-1/2 Cup Warm water and cover to re-hydrate them. About 15 minutes.
  • Place Remaining water into pot with stew meat and turn on medium heat. Add beef bouillion cubes and let simmer.
  • In skillet heat oil add onions and garlic. Saute until golden brown. Add them to the pot with meat.
  • Place chilies into blender with water and blend until smooth. Add this mixture to the pan with chilies. Add cumin also. Let simmer for about 2-3 hours or until meat is tender. Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Sauce should simmer down, if it is to saucy you may mix 1 tablespoon corn starch and 1 tablespoon water together and slowy stir into sauce. It should thicken it.
  • Serve with rice, beans and tortillas
