Veal Marsala

- 4 Baby veal steaks (better than veal steak) shopping list
- flour shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of oil shopping list
- 1 chicken stock cube shopping list
- 1/3 cup marsala shopping list
- 1oz butter (30g) shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
How to make it
- Pound beef on both sides to tenderize.
- season beef w/salt & pepper to both sides.
- Coat in flour.
- melt butter with oil in pan
- place beef into pan and cook for 3 min. each side.
- Remove and allow to drain.
- With the remaining oil and butter, return to heat.
- Add Marsala, crushed stock cube and 1/2
- water
- Allow to boil for 2 min. and scrape botttom to lift up ingredients.
- Now return beef to pan and cover.
- Allow to only simmer for about 10min.
- Turn beef once.
- Remove and keep warm.
- Add to pan the remaining water and bring to boil.
- Scrape any bits off bottom of pan to mix with the glaze.
- Cook till this a syrup.
- Pour over the meat.
- I like to have small potatoes, beans, stick carrots, brussel sprouts with this meal.
