Pasta salad

- 1lb fettuccine shopping list
- bush of fresh basil shopping list
- crumbled feta cheese shopping list
- large can of diced tomatoes/vine riped tomatoes shopping list
- favorite Itailian dressing shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Boil pasta as directed on the box be sure to use a good amount of salt in the pasta water. Pasta best when cooked al dente
- Drain pasta and rinse with cold water leaving pasta slightly warm.
- Add pasta to large serving bowl. Add basil leaves whole or ripe them with your fingers carefully not to bruise the leaves. Add as many basil leaves as you like. I use at least half a bush of basil.
- Add diced tomatoes, juice and all. Add crumbled feta again as much as you like.
- Drizzle Itailian dressing, be sure not to use to much. Add salt and pepper to taste. Toss well.
- Serve at room temperature, or cold. I like it better at room temperature.
