How to make it

  • Cut the bread with a 4-inch round cutter, discarding the excess, along with the crusts.
  • Beat the egg yolks with the salt.
  • Dip the bread rounds in the beaten egg yolks, coating both sides of each slice.
  • Melt the butter in a pan.
  • Fry the bread slices until they are golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Flip the slices and cook the other side until it is also golden brown.
  • Take them up and sprinkle them with sugar.
  • Serve hot.
