How to make it

  • Melt the butter, add the cheese which has been cut into small pieces in a double broiler stirring constantly until melted.
  • When cheese is melted add the salt, mustard, Worcestershire and then gradually pour in the half and half stir until well mixed. Next add the beaten eggs slowly stirring until thick and starts to turn to a soft scramble. Serve immediately on crisp toast
  • Beer may also be substituted for the half and half for a bit of a different flavor.
