How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 220.
  • Heat water, oil, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large microwave safe dish for 2 minutes, or until sugar is melted. Add vanilla.
  • Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Slowly add the dry to the wet mixture and stir until uniform. Turn mixed granola out onto a baking sheet (preferably one with a lip) and spread evenly.
  • Bake for approximately 2-1/2 to 3 hours, or until granola is chewy or crunchy to your liking. As it bakes turn cereal with a spatula every 30 minutes.
