- 1/2 Cup water shopping list
- 1/3 Cup vegetable/Canola oil shopping list
- 1/2 Cup sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg shopping list
- Pinch salt shopping list
- 4 Cups rolled oats shopping list
- 1/4 Cup ground flax seed shopping list
- 1/3 Cup walnuts shopping list
- 1/4 Cup wheat germ shopping list
- 1/8 Cup oat flour shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 220.
- Heat water, oil, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large microwave safe dish for 2 minutes, or until sugar is melted. Add vanilla.
- Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Slowly add the dry to the wet mixture and stir until uniform. Turn mixed granola out onto a baking sheet (preferably one with a lip) and spread evenly.
- Bake for approximately 2-1/2 to 3 hours, or until granola is chewy or crunchy to your liking. As it bakes turn cereal with a spatula every 30 minutes.
