Ingredients

1/2 Cup Water

1/3 Cup Vegetable/Canola Oil

1/2 Cup Sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Pinch Salt

4 Cups Rolled Oats

1/4 Cup Ground flax seed

1/3 Cup Walnuts

1/4 Cup Wheat Germ

1/8 Cup Oat Flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 220.

Heat water, oil, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large microwave safe dish for 2 minutes, or until sugar is melted. Add vanilla.

Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Slowly add the dry to the wet mixture and stir until uniform. Turn mixed granola out onto a baking sheet (preferably one with a lip) and spread evenly.

Bake for approximately 2-1/2 to 3 hours, or until granola is chewy or crunchy to your liking. As it bakes turn cereal with a spatula every 30 minutes.
