Pumpkin Custard Dessert

- For 8" square pan you'll need shopping list
- CRUST: shopping list
- 1/4 cup oats, quick or old fashoined shopping list
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup br. sugar shopping list
- 4 TBSP. butter or margarine shopping list
- FILLING: shopping list
- 1 cup pumpkin puree shopping list
- 3/4 cup 1/2 & 1/2 shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 2 TBSP. molasses shopping list
- 2 TBSP. br. sugar (packed) shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. (each) cinnamon & nutmeg shopping list
- TOPPING: shopping list
- 1/4 cup br. sugar (packed) shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 2 TBSP. all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 TBSP. butter or margarine shopping list
How to make it
- For the crust:
- combine oats, flour & br sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Press into buttered 8" square pan.
- Bake @ 375 for 10 min. until golden brown
- Meanwhile:
- Beat together filling ingredients until well mixed.
- Pour into baked crust
- Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes or until custard is set
- Topping:
- Combine the topping ingredients until crumbly.
- Sprinkle over the custard & bake 10 min. longer or
- until golden brown
