- 2 - 28oz cans of whole plumb tomatoes, or crushed, or equal amount of fresh tomatoes shopping list
- 1- 6 oz can tomatoe paste shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 large onion shopping list
- 1/4 cup olive oil shopping list
- 1/2/ lb pork loin, or 2 Italian sausages, or neither shopping list
- 1/4 cup parsely shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoon basil shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic shopping list
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese shopping list
- 2/3 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 2 1/2 pounds ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 pound ground pork shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list

How to make it
- Using a large heavy pot add a tablespoon of olive oile and brown pork.
- Add a few tablespoons more of olive oil, add
- diced onion and crushed clove of garlic, saute till soft.
- Add tomatoes and paste and cup of water. Salt pepper and basil.
- Stirring, bring to a boil then simmer.
- Mix gound beef and pork iwth bread crumbs, parsely, chopped garlic, cheese, beqaten eggs and some water.
- Form mix into 1 1/2 rounfd meatballs and drop into pot.
- Gently stir to fit them all in.
- Continue to simmer for 1 1/2 hour.
- Add water as necessary.
- Salt and pepper to taste, addd other spices as you like.
- Serve of spaghetti or linguini with sald and garlic bread.
