BUTTERMILK BISCUITS

- 3 CUPS self rising flour shopping list
- 1 TBSP. powdered sugar shopping list
- 3 TSP. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 CUP lard shopping list
- 1 1/4 CUPS buttermilk shopping list
How to make it
- COMBINE ALL DRY INGREDIENTS
- CUT IN LARD AND BUTTERMILK AND WORK IN UNTIL YOU GET A BISCUIT DOUGH **** DO NOT OVERWORK DOUGH OR BISCUITS WILL BE TOUGHER THAN A MARINE CORP DRILL SEARGENT****
- ROLL DOUGH OUT ON A LIGHTLT FLOURED SURFACE ( DOUGH SHOULD BE ABOUT 1/2 INCH THICKNESS)
- CUT OUT BISCUITS WITH A BISCUIT CUTTER (I USE A GLASS THAT IS ABOUT 3 INCHES IN DIAMETER )
- PLACE ON A BISCUIT PAN OR COOKIE SHEET THAT HAS BEEN LIGHTLY GREASED ( MAKES THE BOTTOM OF THE BISCUIT BROWN NICELY)
- BAKE IN A OVEN PREHEATED TO 450 DEGREES FOR 10 TO 12 MINUTES
