• I also squeezed some fresh lemon onto it for the apples and pears. I prefer using fresh lemon because processed lemon juice is more acidic than naturally sweet.

• Even without the chocolate, it was yummy. But I didn't add the egg so the crust completely fell apart. It actually became more like a cobbler. But hey, it went regardless.
