"spanglish" Sandwich

- 4 thick slices of fried, crisp bacon, drained on paper towels shopping list
- 2 slices Monterey Jack cheese shopping list
- 2 thick slices of rustic white bread, toasted shopping list
- 1 tablespoon mayo shopping list
- 4 tomato slices shopping list
- 2 leaves of butter lettuce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
How to make it
- Toast bread. Set cheese on 1 piece of toast. Spread mayo on other slice of toast, then top with bacon, tomato & lettuce. In small skillet, melt butter & fry egg over moderate heat, turning once. The egg should be crisp around the edges, but the yolk should still be runny. Slide egg onto lettuce, close the sandwich & eat right away.
