How to make it

  • Roast the tomatillos and tomato on the grill. You may want to place them on a sheet of foil (to reduce mess). Grill on each side until they become darkened (about 5-10 min). Gently remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  • Mince onion, garlic, cilantro and jalapeno and add to a bowl.
  • Add lime juice.
  • Peel and pit avocados and mash avocados in bowl with the other ingredients.
  • Chop/mash the roasted tomatillos and tomato and add to bowl and mix everything up into a paste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve alongside chips or fresh veggies.
