How to make it

  • Place flour in bowl and set aside. Beat the eggs in another bowl. Mix together the crushed pretzels,parmesan cheese,Italian seasoning,cayenne pepper and paprika in third bowl.
  • Rinse chicken,pat dry. Gently press the chicken breasts in flour to coat and shake off excess. Dip in beaten egg,then press into pretzel crumb mixture. Gently toss between hands so crumbs that didn't stick,fall away.
  • Place breaded chicken on plate while breading the rest;do not stack.
  • Heat oil over med heat in skillet and fry the chicken about 5 to 7 mins per side,until coating is golden brown and juices run clear.

    I tried this tonight and it was great! All except for when I got distracted with the baby and kind of overbrowned one side, well.......ok.......I burned that one side, but it was still a marvelous dish! Thanks!
