How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the flour and cornmeal together. Add the baking powder and stir well.
  • In another bowl, mix the sugar or honey with the egg, milk and melted butter.
  • Gradually add the cornmeal mixture to the wet mixture and mix well.
  • In a greased and lightly floured loaf pan, pour in the mixture.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden.
