How to make it

  • Reduce 1 1/2 cups of Balsamic Vinegar on the stove top. Simmer about 20 minutes or until the vinegar reduces to a syrup and will measure about 1/2 cup. Cool.
  • In a jar mix reserved 1/2 cup unreduced Balsamic Vinegar, and the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. Add cooled reduced vinegar to the mix.
  • You can reduce vinegar in advance and keep stored in a cool place.
  • Feel free to add spices or garlic. Depending on what you plan to dress.
  • My favorite salad for this dressing:
  • Mixed Greens
  • Strawberries
  • Red Onion
  • Red Pepper
  • Blue Cheese
  • Candied Walnuts (Optional)
