Toffee Turtle Cake (gluten Free Option)

- 1 Betty Crocker gluten Free chocolate cake mix shopping list
- Ingredients for the cake mix are: shopping list
- 1 stick of butter, softened shopping list
- 1 C water shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- Ingredients for the rest of the Turtle cake are: shopping list
- 2/3 C sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 1 C caramel ice cream topping shopping list
- 1 8oz container of Cool Whip shopping list
- 2 Skor or Heath candy bars, crushed shopping list
How to make it
- Make the cake mix according to package directions using a 9x9 baking pan and let cool for aprox 1/2 an hour.
- Poke holes in top of cake aprox every half inch.
- Very slowly pour part of the Sweetened Condensed Milk over cake. It will take some time to soak into holes & cake so this process needs to be repeated several times, waiting for aprox 10 min between each application.
- Follow the same procedure with the Caramel Sauce.
- Wait another 15 min before spreading Cool Whip evenly over cake.
- Top with crushed Toffee Bars & dig in!
