Steak Pizzaiola Over Rigatoni

- 1 1/2 lbs cubed steak pieces shopping list
- 1 green pepper - sliced shopping list
- 1 red pepper - sliced shopping list
- 1 lg onion - sliced shopping list
- 1 28 oz. crushed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 clove garlic - sliced shopping list
- 3 T olive oil shopping list
- salt and grd black pepper shopping list
- dash of dried oregano shopping list
- 1 lb. rigatoni pasta shopping list
How to make it
- Place olive oil in large saute pan and brown cubed steak. Remove from pan to platter for later.
- Saute peppers and onions, adding garlic, salt and pepper until soft, adding more oil if needed, and remove to platter.
- Add crushed tomatoes and oregano. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add steak and vegetables back into the sauce and braise, covered, on medium heat for 1 hour until vegetables are soft and steak is tender.
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Pour into saute pan and mix into sauce. Pour onto platter and serve.
- This dish served with green salad and dinner roll or garlic bread is delicious. Enjoy!!!
