How to make it

  • Place olive oil in large saute pan and brown cubed steak. Remove from pan to platter for later.
  • Saute peppers and onions, adding garlic, salt and pepper until soft, adding more oil if needed, and remove to platter.
  • Add crushed tomatoes and oregano. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Add steak and vegetables back into the sauce and braise, covered, on medium heat for 1 hour until vegetables are soft and steak is tender.
  • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Pour into saute pan and mix into sauce. Pour onto platter and serve.
  • This dish served with green salad and dinner roll or garlic bread is delicious. Enjoy!!!
