How to make it

  • Heat pan with oil. Add mustard seeds,blackgram,bengalgram,cashew and curryleaves.
  • when cashew turn into brown, add onion and green chillies.
  • fry till onion turns brown. Now add turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and grated carrot.
  • mix well and close the pan with a lid and cook in low heat till the carrot become soft.
  • then add boiled peas and lemon juice. stir for two mins.
  • now add cooked rice and stir gently.
  • serve hot with spicy potato roast.
