- Indian whole wheatflour - 2 cups shopping list
- salt - to taste shopping list
- vegetable oil - for frying shopping list
- warm water - 3/4 cup shopping list
How to make it
- Add salt,1/2 tsp oil and water to the flour and make it as firm dough.
- Knead till smooth. leave it for half hour.
- After half hour knead it again.
- Divide this into small balls and roll it as thick rounds.
- heat oil in the sausepan.fry the poori one at a time.
- Hold them under the oil on the first side untill they puff.
- Turn and fry till light brown,drain.
- Serve hot with raita or potato curry or with spicy gravy
