Berry Cream Pie

- 1 pie crust (flour, NOT graham) shopping list
- 4 cups berries shopping list
- 1 cup cream (30%) shopping list
- 2/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup flour shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Line bottom of pie tin with crust.
- Fill crust with fresh fruit. Can use any of several options. I've tried blueberries (my favorite), blackberries, raspberries, gooseberries.
- Mix remaining ingredients well.
- Pour cream mixture over fruit in crust.
- Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 35-45 minutes or until cream mixture is puffed up and lightly browned.
- Serve slightly warm.
- NOTE: With some fruits, you may prefer to substitute allspice for cinnamon, or make other spice substitutions, to taste.
