How to make it

  • Line bottom of pie tin with crust.
  • Fill crust with fresh fruit. Can use any of several options. I've tried blueberries (my favorite), blackberries, raspberries, gooseberries.
  • Mix remaining ingredients well.
  • Pour cream mixture over fruit in crust.
  • Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 35-45 minutes or until cream mixture is puffed up and lightly browned.
  • Serve slightly warm.
  • NOTE: With some fruits, you may prefer to substitute allspice for cinnamon, or make other spice substitutions, to taste.
