Shrimp And Macroni N' Cheese

- 1 pound of medium shells shopping list
- 1/2 stick of butter shopping list
- 2 tbsp flour shopping list
- 1 tsp seafood seasoning (Old Bay) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes shopping list
- 2 cups Half N' Half shopping list
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 block of gouda cheese (cut up) shopping list
- 1 onion chopped shopping list
- 1 pound of cooked shrimp (100 est) package, cut in half shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Spray 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray
- Cook shells in salted boiling water till al dente, drain well
- In large pot, melt butter over medium heat, add onion and saute till light
- Add flour, seafood seasoning, salt/pepper and red flakes
- Gradually add Half N'Half , bring to boil and cook till thickened stirring constantly
- Stir in 3 cups cheddar cheese and gouda cheese, stir till melted
- Add cooked shells and shrimp and mix well
- Pour into prepared pan
- Top with remaining cheese
- (Optional: buttered bread crumbs)
- Bake 35-40 uncovered for until throughly heated and top is golden brown
