How to make it

  • Bring sugar and water to a boil in saucepan. Remove syrup from heat and cool to room temperature. Stir in berries and freeze in heavy duty resealable bag. Press out any air before sealing and freezing.
  • Thaw preserved berries in the refrigerator the day before use or heat as needed in a saucepan. Use as a topping for cake,cheesecake or ice cream.
