Creamy Tuna Casserole

- 1 pkg. egg Wide noodles shopping list
- 1 tbsp butter shopping list
- 3 pieces of garlic from the clove- crushed shopping list
- ½ White or yellow onion -chopped shopping list
- 3 tbsp of red wine (cabernet) shopping list
- 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of cream cheese shopping list
- 1 can of milk shopping list
- ½ tsp salt shopping list
- ½ pepper shopping list
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper shopping list
- 2 (6oz) cans of albacore tuna shopping list
- ½ Jar of roasted Red pimento aka red peppers shopping list
- 1 can of peas or corn or both shopping list
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Cook Noodles as directed in water with salt added. When they are done to your perfection drain them but do not rinse.
- 2. Place Butter, Crushed Garlic and onion to the pot you cooked your noodles in, once it simmers down add the wine (it will look purple but that’s ok).
- 3. Add Soup, Cream Cheese, and Milk to the Garlic mixture and stir till it thickens.
- 4. Add Pepper, Cayenne and Salt as needed for taste.
- 5. Add both cans of Albacore and break it up while you are stirring because it will be in chunks.
- 6. Add the Pimento, Peas (corn is optional) and 1/2 cup of Cheddar Cheese and stir.
- 7. Add Noodles to the mix and stir it all together.
- 8. Place in a 13 x9 casserole dish.
- 9. Add the remaining ½ cup of Cheese on top.
- 10. Bake at 350’ for 25 minutes until the cheese is melted.
