Ingredients

How to make it

  • Brew 6 to 8 cups of coffee. Make coffee 50% stronger than you normally do. For instance, if you normally brew using 4 scoops...make this with 6 scoops.
  • Once brewed take off burner and allow to cool just a bit. Place coffee in a pitcher with a top that can go in fridge.
  • Add condensed milk. Start with 1/2 cup. Add and stir until you reach your preferred taste. It will taste slightly sweeter once chilled. I use about 10 ounces per pitcher and I like sweet coffee (and sweet tea....I am a southern gal!). Once chilled it is ready to serve.
  • It is just like hot coffee - some like it sweeter, bolder, milder, heavy on the cream....adjust the basic coffee to make it just like you like it!
  • I have served in the following manner:
  • Over ice cubes.
  • Placed ice cubes and coffee in blender and blended for "slushy".
  • Frozen coffee in ice cube trays - If I do this I like to make the coffee cubes weaker than I make my normal coffee, if not, it gets too strong as they melt See Photo. You can serve over whole cubes or run thru blender.
  • Placed vanilla beans in pitcher for vanilla flavor. Half a bean to start with to develop your taste.
  • Additional creamer ie., added half and half after chilled.
  • Do not make more than you will consume in 2 days...it tends to get stronger as it sits.
  • Use the basic recipe and adjust it to your taste to make it your own. Enjoy!

Wonderful! I'm on an iced coffee kick right now, so this is just the ticket, along with the condensed milk. Double thanks!
