Halibut Puttanesca

- (Sauce) shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup olive oil shopping list
- 2 anchovy fillets, finely sliced (optional) shopping list
- 3 cups tomato sauce - see 3 Step tomato sauce recipe shopping list
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained and chopped shopping list
- 1/3 cup oil-packed black olives, drained, pitted and halved shopping list
- 2 tablespoons Fresh oregano, chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped shopping list
- salt and pepper, to taste shopping list
- (halibut) shopping list
- 4 halibut fillets (about 1 - 2lbs) shopping list
- 8 thin slices of prosciutto shopping list
How to make it
- (Sauce)
- In a saucepan over medium heat, soften the onion and garlic in the oil.
- Add the anchovies and stir for 1 minute.
- Add the tomato sauce.
- Simmer for 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients.
- (Halibut)
- Wrap two slices or prosciutto around the Halibut fillets
- Pan Fry Halibut on all four sides and place in a baking dish.
- Top with sauce and bake for approx 15- 20 minutes.
- Serve on top your favorite pasta making sure to scoop up the remaining sauce and put on your pasta.
