Hass - Ta La Vista Brownies

Brownie
- 1 hass avocado shopping list
- Pinch of salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 3.5 oz bittersweet chocolate (100g), melted shopping list
- 3/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup sweet rice flour shopping list
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder shopping list
- 1/2 cup coconut milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup black cherry concentrate shopping list
- 3 tbsp water shopping list
- 2 tbsp dried cherries, soaked in kirsch or hot water and drained shopping list
Icing
- 1 hass avocado shopping list
- 1 tbsp agave nectar shopping list
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar shopping list
- 3 tbsp cocoa shopping list
- 1 tbsp coconut milk shopping list
- 2 tbsp shredded coconut shopping list
How to make it
Brownie
- Preheat oven to 350F, line and grease grease a 9" square pan.
- In a large bowl beat together avocado pulp, salt, brown sugar, vanilla and vinegar.
- Stir in melted chocolate until well combined.
- Add flours and cocoa powder, stirring gently, then add coconut milk, cherry concentrate and water and mix well.
- Fold in dried cherries.
- Bake 20 minutes.
- Cool completely in the pan, then chill overnight before frosting.
Icing
See Photo- Combine avocado, agave, sugar, cocoa and coconut milk in a food processor and whip until smooth.
- Spread on chilled brownies and sprinkle with coconut. See Photo
- Chill completely before cutting.
