Missouri Pound Cake

- 1 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 3 cups sugar6 eggs shopping list
- 2 tbsp vanilla shopping list
- 4 cups flour shopping list
- 1/4 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
How to make it
- Cream the butter, sugar, eggs, and the vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Alternately add the flour, baking soda, and the sour cream.
- Mix well.
- Divide and pour evenly into two greased 8 x 4 inch loaf pans.
- Bake at 350 F. until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- This will take about one hour.
- Makes 16 servings
