How to make it

  • Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Blend in the remaining ingredients.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
  • Place a pecan half on the top of each cookie, if desired.
  • Bake at 350 F for 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Makes about 3 dozen
