How to make it

  • ~ Chocolat Cake ~
  • First of all preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Butter and flour an 8 inch springform pan.
  • Mix the flour,cocoa,and baking powder.
  • Beat the butter and sugar with an electric mixer until creamy.
  • Add eggs yolks,one at a time,beating until just blended after each addition.
  • With mixer on low,gradually beat in the dry ingredients.
  • With mixer on high,beat the egg whites and salt until stiff peaks form.
  • Using a rubber spatula to fold them into the batter.
  • Spoon the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake until a pick inserted into the center comes out clean,about 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Cool in pan for 5 minutes.
  • Loosen and remove the sides.
  • Invert onto a rack and remove the bottom.
  • Allow to cool completely.
  • Give the top a powder,and dust it off with cocoa.
  • ~ Creamy Chocolat Frosting ~
  • Melt chocolat,butter and condensed milk in a double boiler over barely simering water.
  • Let cool a little.
  • Place flosting in a pastry bag and pipe around the sides,in a decorative manner.
  • Decorate the sides with flaked chocolat.
  • It's...MINE! MINE!! MINE!!!....If you want a peice you will have to make your own.
