- 1 1/2 Cups flour shopping list
- 1/3 Cup cocoa shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 3/4 Cup caster sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs,separated shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon salt shopping list
- cocoa for Dusting shopping list
- ~ Creamy Chocolat frosting ~ shopping list
- 6 oz.Semisweet Dark Chocolat...coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1/2 Cup condensed milk Sweetened shopping list
- ~ Faked Chocolat ~ shopping list
- 6 oz. Semisweet Dark Chocolat shopping list
How to make it
- ~ Chocolat Cake ~
- First of all preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Butter and flour an 8 inch springform pan.
- Mix the flour,cocoa,and baking powder.
- Beat the butter and sugar with an electric mixer until creamy.
- Add eggs yolks,one at a time,beating until just blended after each addition.
- With mixer on low,gradually beat in the dry ingredients.
- With mixer on high,beat the egg whites and salt until stiff peaks form.
- Using a rubber spatula to fold them into the batter.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake until a pick inserted into the center comes out clean,about 40 to 45 minutes.
- Cool in pan for 5 minutes.
- Loosen and remove the sides.
- Invert onto a rack and remove the bottom.
- Allow to cool completely.
- Give the top a powder,and dust it off with cocoa.
- ~ Creamy Chocolat Frosting ~
- Melt chocolat,butter and condensed milk in a double boiler over barely simering water.
- Let cool a little.
- Place flosting in a pastry bag and pipe around the sides,in a decorative manner.
- Decorate the sides with flaked chocolat.
- It's...MINE! MINE!! MINE!!!....If you want a peice you will have to make your own.
