Banana Cornbread II

- * 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- * 1 1/4 cup corn meal (white or yellow) shopping list
- * 2 medium ripe bananas mashed shopping list
- * 3 teaspoons of baking powder shopping list
- * 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- * 2 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- * 1 large egg shopping list
- * 3 tablespoons oil shopping list
- * 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger shopping list
- * 1/4 teaspoon fresh grated nutmeg shopping list
- * 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Pre heat oven to 400 degrees
- In medium mixing bowl combine flour, corn meal, baking powder, and salt; mix until even. In another mixing bowl beat egg, then add in mashed banana, sugar, oil, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon; stir until smooth. Add banana mixture to flour mix; stirring until batter is smooth and even. Pour into greased baking pan. Drizzle honey and cinnamon sugar on top of batter.
- Bake for 20 minutes (to make sure bread is done stick a toothpick in the center, bread is done if toothpick is clean when pulled out).
