How to make it

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and lightly flour pan.
  • In large bowl cream together the butter, sugar, and dry strawberry gelatin until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one.
  • Combine flour and baking powder. Add flour and milk into batter alternating between each one. Blend in the vanilla and strawberry puree. Add batter to pan - if using two pans separate equally into each pan and bake for 25-30 min. For 9 X 13 bake for about 40-45 min. Stick toothpick in center and it should come out clean when done. Allow cake to cool at least 10 min. on wire rack before removing.
  • Let completely cool before frosting with topping of your choice.
