Whipped Fruit-scented Butter

- 3/4 cup cold heavy cream shopping list
- 1/4 round tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup cold very thick creme fraiche, mascarpone or room temperature block-style cream cheese shopping list
- 4 generous tbs strawberry or seedless raspberry jam shopping list
How to make it
- Using a stand mixer fitted with the whip attachment, whip the cream with the salt until very thick, but not broken. Add the creme fraiche, mascarpone or cream cheese and beat to combine.
- Add the jam and beat until a light pink color is consistent throughout.
- Transfer whipped butter to a bowl and chill. Serve with warm toast or fresh biscuits.
