    As always
    I find once you place the chicken in the batter,and place it in the refrigerator to chill before sliding it into the hot oil that the coating will stay put and not come off in the cooking.

    This batter sounds like a good one for veggies as well, e.g. onion rings, cauliflowerets, mushrooms, etc etc.
