Smith Mountain Sausage And Egg Casserole

- 1 pound sausage, hot or sage shopping list
- 6 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 6 slices bread, shredded shopping list
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, sharp shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 1/8 tsp cream of tartar, optional shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp dried mustard shopping list
How to make it
- Brown the sausage, drain.
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and pour into a 13x9 lightly oiled baking dish. (Refrigerate overnight. We do skip refrigerating it sometimes if we are in a hurry to eat it.)
- Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove the tinfoil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
