Swedish Butter Cookies

- 1 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp maple syrup 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- confectioners' sugar shopping list
How to make it
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar
- Add the maple syrup
- Mix well
- Combine the flour and baking soda
- Gradually add to the creamed mixture
- Divide the dough in eight portions.
- Roll each portion into a 9-inch log
- Place 3 inches apart onto an ungreased baking sheet
- Bake at 300 F for 25 minutes or until lightly browned
- Cut into 1-inch slices
- Remove to wire racks to cool
- Dut with confectioners' sugar
