How to make it

  • In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar
  • Beat in the egg yolk
  • Gradually add the flour
  • Shape into 1-inch balls
  • In a small bowl, beat the egg white
  • Dip the balls in the egg white
  • Roll in the pecans
  • Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets,
  • Flatten slightly
  • Bake at 375 F for 8-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned Cool on wire racks
