How to make it

  • 1. Cut the melons in halves put don't peel them. Grill well each sides and drop them on aluminum paper and keep them hot.
  • 2. Put a bowl on the barbecue, heat it and throw the porto and the raisins. When the size of the raisins has increased, throw in the strawberries. Wait until they are soft and tender.
  • 3. Throw some chopped basil and freshly grounded pepper. Place a half in a bowl, add some strawberries and top with enough porto.

    Have not been able to find what Porto is--can you help? I know that it's also a place in Portugal but as far as an ingredient, I'm lost.
