Apple Crumble

- 8 eating apples peeled cored and cubed shopping list
- 50g <1/2 cup> Plain <all-purpose> flour shopping list
- 50g <1/2 cup> scotch porridge oats shopping list
- 50g <1/4 cup> cold diced butter shopping list
- 6 tbsp caramel cream <from a can> shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 220c <425f>. Put the apples in a pan with a splash of water cover and cook on a high heat for 4-5 min, stirring occasionally until soft. Then stir in 3 tablespoons of caramel, then divide the mixture into 4 ovenproof dishes. Dot 2 tablespoons of caramel on the apples. Mix together the flour and oats, then rub in the butter with your fingers until you have a crumbly mixture. Stir in the remainig caramel then scatter it over the apples. Bake for 15mins. Serve straight from the oven with custard, dble cream or vanilla ice-cream.
